Hampton Roads Urgent Care (HRUC) is pleased to announce the promotion of Dr. Dan Naumann, Medical Director of HRUC. Dr. Naumann has just finished his first year as a part of the HRUC family, providing general, occupational and orthopaedic medical care for the Hampton Roads community.
Dr. Naumann is a Board Certified Family Medicine physician with over 30 years of experience. He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia and completed his Family Medicine residency as Chief Resident at York Hospital Family Practice in York, Pennsylvania in 1990. Dr. Naumann serves in the United States Air Force Reserve as Lieutenant Colonel, Flight Surgeon and Chief of Flight Medicine among other military appointments. Dr. Naumann has also served as Lead Physician in several humanitarian efforts including the Smokey Mountain Military Humanitarian Medical Team, the Malawi Africa Medical Missionary Team and the Jamaica Medical Missionary Team.
“I am thrilled about the opportunity to become the medical director of HRUC. My goal is to continue our efforts to make HRUC the premiere urgent care for our community, insuring timely, patient centered care” states Naumann.
HRUC serves the community with three unique medical specialties all under one roof. With extended hours and a comprehensive, high-end X-ray facility, HRUC is equipped to treat orthopaedic, sports and work-related injuries, as well as other general health concerns. HRUC is dedicated to offering patients exceptional medical services in a prompt, professional and caring environment; this will continue to be as Dr. Naumann assumes the role as Medical Director.
